Our Programs & Services

Evidence-informed programs that help children, teens, and young adults build friendships, communicate with confidence, and strengthen the skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and in everyday life.

PEERS® Social Skills Program

The PEERS® Social Skills Program at iReading TUTOR helps children, teens, and young adults develop practical friendship and communication skills in a supportive, structured environment.

What Is the PEERS® Social Skills Program?

PEERS® stands for the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills. It is an evidence-informed social skills curriculum focused on teaching real-life strategies that help participants make and keep friends, navigate social situations, and communicate with greater confidence.

Sessions include a blend of instruction, demonstrations, role-playing, guided practice, and optional home activities so that skills are introduced clearly and practiced in meaningful ways.

Speech & Language Pathology

Supporting communication, language, and literacy development.

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide specialized assessment and therapy to help children develop communication and language skills. At iReading TUTOR, speech and language support can address articulation, language development, social communication, and related literacy needs.

What does a Speech & Language Pathologist do?

A Speech & Language Pathologist (SLP) is a trained professional who evaluates and supports children with communication and language needs. SLPs may work with children on speech sound production, language development, communication skills, social communication, and other areas that can affect a child's ability to communicate and participate successfully at home, at school, and in everyday life.

Lindamood-Bell Visualizing And Verbalizing® — Comprehension Program

The Visualizing and Verbalizing® (V/V®) program develops concept imagery — the ability to create an imagined or imaged gestalt from language — as a basis for comprehension and higher order thinking. The development of concept imagery improves reading and listening comprehension, memory, oral vocabulary, critical thinking, and writing.
