Florida Empowerment Scholarship - Unique Abilities

The Florida Empowerment Scholarship- Unique Abilities program provides financial assistance to students with disabilities, allowing them to access specialized educational services. Eligible students can use the funds for private school tuition, therapies, instructional materials, and other necessary services.

TEFA- Provides families of students with disabilities 1st priorities to scholarship funds up to $30,000 to provide tutors for their children in lieu of public schooling.

Florida Empowerment Scholarship Services

For our Florida families, we offer a comprehensive suite of services fully covered by the FES-UA program. We handle the paperwork so you can focus on your child's progress.

We come to your home or a public space of your choice. Direct billing to Step UP FOR STUDENTS so you are NOT paying out of pocket.

Step 1

Apply for the Scholarship

Kindergarten- 5th graders with a substantial deficiency in Reading and Math based on their most recent available screening and progress monitoring assessments or teacher's formative assessments or observations

Step 2

Call or text 561-418-6856

  • Schedule your lessons with iReading TUTOR ​

  • Provide the following information: Days/times your child is available for tutoring. ​

  • Face to Face in your home or online

Upload any other information needed such as a pyscho- ed or IEP - Does your child have a diagnosis so we can match to the reading and /or math specialist with the skills to appropriately remediate your child with a diagnosed learning disability

Step 3

Step UP FOR STUDENTS will send an email to link you to their Education Market Assistant (EMA website)

Go to the Marketplace tab on EMA Search "iReading" as your direct bill provider

Reserve the 16 sessions- 45 min, iReading TUTOR online Reading or Math lessons or 12- 60 min face to face lessons.

​ ​Snap a photo of your cart 1*$1,200 and the success screen, then text both photos to iReading TUTOR to complete your reservation with iReading TUTOR ​Text 561-418-6856 and complete the online form.
