Welcome to iReadingTutor.com. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and tutoring services. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing iReadingTutor.com or enrolling in any tutoring service offered by iReading TUTOR, LLC ("iReading TUTOR," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("user," "parent," "guardian," or "client") agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

iReading TUTOR provides online and in-home tutoring services in reading, writing, and math, with a specialization in supporting students with dyslexia, autism, and other learning disabilities. We use evidence-based, structured literacy methods including Orton-Gillingham, the Wilson Reading System, Barton Reading & Spelling, and Lindamood Bell programs (LiPS and V/V), among others.

While we are committed to delivering high-quality, individualized instruction, learning outcomes vary from student to student. We do not guarantee specific academic results, grade-level gains, or timelines for progress.

3. User Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the student, including relevant educational history, diagnoses, and learning needs, so we can tailor instruction appropriately.

For online sessions, parents/guardians agree to ensure a quiet, safe, and appropriate learning environment, a working internet connection, and respectful behavior from all participants. Abusive, harassing, or inappropriate conduct toward tutors or staff is not permitted and may result in termination of services.

4. Scheduling & Cancellation Policy

Sessions are scheduled in advance by mutual agreement between the family and the assigned tutor. We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-shows, may be charged at the full session rate. Repeated late cancellations may result in loss of the scheduled time slot.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due according to the schedule agreed upon at enrollment (typically weekly or monthly, in advance of services). We accept major payment methods, including credit/debit cards and electronic transfers.

We also accept scholarship payments, including but not limited to Step Up For Students, the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), and Florida New Worlds Reading. Scholarship families are responsible for ensuring funding is approved and submitted in a timely manner. If scholarship payment is delayed or denied, the parent/guardian remains responsible for the balance.

Accounts more than 14 days past due may be subject to a pause in services until payment is received.

6. Refund Policy

Payments for completed sessions are non-refundable. Pre-paid, unused sessions may be refunded or credited at our discretion when requested in writing within 30 days of the original payment.

Refunds are not provided for missed sessions, late cancellations, no-shows, or dissatisfaction with progress, as outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including consistent attendance and at-home support.

7. Disclaimer of Affiliations

iReading TUTOR, LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, Nanci Bell, Phyllis Lindamood, or Pat Lindamood.

References to programs such as LiPS® (Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing) and Visualizing and Verbalizing® (V/V) are made solely to describe instructional methods used by our independently trained tutors. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iReading TUTOR, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and tutors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, improvements in test scores, grade-level advancement, diagnosis or remediation of any learning disability, or any other measurable result. Tutoring is a supplemental educational service and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or special education evaluation or treatment.

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

We treat all student information — including names, contact details, educational records, diagnoses, and session notes — as confidential. Information is shared only with the assigned tutor, authorized staff, and (where applicable) the scholarship program funding the services.

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on iReadingTutor.com, including text, graphics, logos, lesson materials, worksheets, and resources created by iReading TUTOR, LLC, is the property of iReading TUTOR, LLC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

Materials may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Families enrolled in our services may use provided materials for the personal educational use of their student only.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

12. Changes to Terms

iReading TUTOR, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
